Moth With A Wierd Name

Back on the 26th June I ran my MV trap for the first time this year and caught an L-album Wainscott, which is a first for me. Seems to have starting breeding in the UK in Devon or the west country in the 1930's and now is a south coast species, certainly having occured at Dungeness. I know that a few records exist from London, Essex and Suffolk but very pleased to have also recorded one in my back garden which is very much inland.
