Rectory Meadow

Whilst I had visited this site just south of Longfield about 8 years ago it was only recently that I discovered it was now a local nature reserve. In a visit this morning in the pouring rain I found a great display of man orchids with between 80-100 plants. A few birds were around with blackcap, chiffchaff and some noisy long-tailed tits.
